OUR STORY

THE BRAND

We began creating undergarments to uplift women of all sizes, and provide a platform to celebrate our bodies for their uniqueness. Our pieces are designed for comfort, made from exquisitely soft fabrics, to make your intimate wear feel like a second skin.

Since then, we have partnered up with Fight Back SA, an NPO training women living in dangerous communities, plagued by high murder, rape and assault rates, in self defense lessons. For each of our bralettes from the Fight Back collection that is sold, 12 more women are able to take part in these self defence lessons for free!

Our collections are lovingly handmade in Cape Town by our extremely talented local seamstresses.

THE DESIGNER

Bronté McDonald completed a BA in Fine Arts at The Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town. She has always enjoyed creating and sewing custom fashion items, and started Bronté intimates in 2020, initially designing bralettes for her friends and family members. Bronté has an unwavering passion for the upliftment of marginalised groups, and is continuously working towards finding new ways to improve the lives of others.

She created Bronté intimates as a platform for all body types to be represented, and be reminded to love our bodies for all their kinks and quirks. And to remind other women of their worth, and build a space for women to raise each other up.
